theshipthatflew: Ok I rarely get preachy about things like this but why is Tumblr promoting a post on their radar that doesn’t include any artist or even click-through source information? This is by Saul Steinberg who died in 1999; his work is not in the public domain so I think some credit would be fair, especially for people who might want to know more about the artist and understand more about the context of the work.  This image is included in Steinberg’s incredible book The Passport, that is all about identity (esp. influenced by his experience as a Romanian immigrant).
